Odds in plain English

Probability measures how likely an outcome is if a process is fair and repeated many times. A single round can still go either way — that is variance, not a broken rule.

Independent rounds

On Frosty Reels, each deal, call sequence or tile shuffle uses fresh randomness. Previous results do not change the next probability. A run of losses does not make a win “owed.”

Simple examples with correct maths

• A fair coin has probability 1/2 for heads on each flip, every time.
• Drawing one specific card from a full 52-card deck without jokers is 1/52 ≈ 1.92%.
• In 75-ball bingo, the first ball is equally likely to be any of the 75 numbers (probability 1/75 each).
• Baccarat hand totals use modulo 10 scoring; the Player and Banker sides have slightly different long-run frequencies under standard rules — which is why Banker bets traditionally carry a commission in cash games. Here that commission is simulated in virtual coins only.

Expected value (EV)

Expected value is the average result per unit stake if you could repeat a bet infinitely under the same rules. A negative EV game can still produce short winning streaks. Free virtual coins let you see that noise without funding it.

What probability is not
